Kinda Sorta Instant....

As some of you know, I recently acquired a Fuji X-Half (aka X-HF1).  It's not an Instant Camera but has an easy direct link to the Fuji Instax Link printers.

After some research, I've come to learn that Fuji didn't just make a non-printing version of their Evo Mini Camera.  The X-Half actually is a basic compact 1" 18mp camera that.... has aspherical lens elements.

So I decided to see.  Images SOC (straight out of camera).  Left printed on an Epson ET8550, Center on a Link Wide and Left on a Link Mini.  (Sorry for the reflections on the instant images)

I am not expecting Leica quality lens rendering but looking at the image, this little camera does a wonderful job for what we would classify as a "point and shoot" camera.

Also took a shot with the SX-70 mod. 2 using 600 film.  As expected, the results were more painting quality versus technical photo stuff.

God help me... I'm getting back in.

Looking for models once again to do some shoots.
